Previously group video calling was available on the Xbox One only to those with Xbox Live Gold membership, all of that has changed due to Microsoft allowing any Skype users to perform group video calling across the Xbox One, PC, and Mac for free. Hover: Revolt of Gamers, is a futuristic parkour game developed by the indie developers of Fusty
The story of Hover is as follows, You’re in a world where video games are outlawed and you play as various rebels set on freeing the consoles and bringing them to the people. There are various characters to choose from with different perks, and different clans to join. You’ll also be able to customise your character’s appearance too.
There is a Jet Set Radio inspired Graffiti Mode, allowing players to tag the terrain, while Jet Set Radio composer Hideki Naganuma is on board to supply some sweet tunes too.
Hover is for PC, Mac and Linux with Oculus support on its way, and it’s also set for PS4 and Xbox One. A Wii U version will be made if the Kicksarter reaches its $100K goal.
Players can reserve a digital copy of Hover for $15, or spend an extra $10 to get an early alpha build. The game is set for a spring 2015 release.
This game has caught my attention as I loved Jet Set Radio for Dreamcast.
