New EU Dying Light Release Date

Following the recent announcement that the physical version of Dying Light would be delayed, we now have a new release date.

DyingLight

From 27th Feb you will be able to pick up a physical copy of the game, a one month delay over the digital and US versions.

On the bright side, it has been announced that the “Be a Zombie” mode, will be freely available for everyone. Previously this was a pre-order bonus, so not a bad gesture.

Depending on the reviews, I might have to grab a copy as I do love my zombie games.

New Mode(s) Coming With New Titanfall DLC

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with poor old Titanfall. Its incredibly fun to play but there just isn’t enough content to hold my interest for long periods – at least, that was the case when the game launched in March.

Since then however, Respawn has been releasing new maps and, more importantly, modes to freshen things up a bit. It sounds like this pattern will be continuing with the upcoming DLC too, as Respawn has said on Twitter to expect new modes in the final add-on pack.

I must admit I sold my copy of the game a while ago but part of me is tempted to reinvest now the game is a bit more fleshed out – the fact I received a £45 refund from Microsoft this morning is swaying my decision a bit… 😉

Titanfall IMC Rising DLC

Taking to the stage at Gamescom, Respawn revealed the first details around Titanfall: IMC Rising, the third and final DLC pack for Titanfall. Players will fight across three new maps including Backwater, Zone 18 and Sandtrap.

Expect more details on the maps in the coming weeks leading up to launch. (I predict September) The map pack will be available for £7.99 or included in the season pass for £19.99.
