COD Ghosts Extinction Gameplay

‘Extinction’ was the new mode announced for COD Ghosts last week. Want to see it in action? Of course you do!

Infinity Ward has been chatting with the cool people at Gamespot and have uploaded a large chunk of gameplay footage, giving us a better idea of how its going to work.

From Spec Ops to Zombies, the COD games always have fun little modes like this and, judging by the footage, Extinction looks like another solid addition.

COD Ghosts – Current Gen Details

Just a couple of quick points regarding the current gen versions of Call of Duty Ghosts.

Firstly, the game’s campaign will require a 3GB installation – presumably for enhanced texture effects, etc. For those of you with 4GB Xbox 360s, Infinity Ward has confirmed the install will fit comfortably, however flash drives can also be used if you don’t have space.

The game’s multiplayer component will not require an installation, aside for the Free Fall bonus map, which requires 250MB.

Speaking of multiplayer, interestingly the maximum lobby size has been reduced from 18 to 12. No details have been given as to why, however my guess would be the new engine is putting a larger strain on the older consoles. X1/PC lobbies will presumably remain at 18 players.
