DirectX 12 At GDC
Microsoft will reveal the latest iteration of its graphics API, DirectX 12, later this month at the Games Developers Conference in San Francisco.
The panel’s description highlights how the company plans to deliver on demands for better tools for developers, added performance, and support for more hardware with specific mention of PCs, tablets, phones, and consoles.
DirectX 11 was released back in 2008. This is where Microsoft can now get full 1080p, 60fps easily on the X1. 🙂
